Overall purpose:
Amberstone provides integrated security solutions through the provision of technology products and manned guarding resources. Our security solutions bridge the gap through the provision of risk based integrated security solutions, deployed through our unique Amberstone Risk Modelling tool (ARM). Products combine to provide a best return on investment made by our varied client base, with Amberstone sharing strategic best practise wherever possible to the benefit of all clients, reducing risk and costs wherever possible. Main duties / key responsibilities:
- Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
- Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type and style and submitting them for approval.
- Develop dynamic and evolving internal relationships to deliver first rate graphic material for our teams for both internal and external use.
- Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software.
- Coordinating with outside agencies, art services, web designers, marketing, printers and colleagues as necessary.
- Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing targets as needed.
- Communicating with both external and internal clients in regards design and layout.
- Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for case studies, client presentations, marketing activities, corporate requirements, web, posters, signage etc. utilising software such as photoshop, illustrator and other graphic creating products.
- Work in close collaboration with Bid Writers and Sales Team to ensure output is relevant.
- Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements as necessary.
- Overseeing the use of our approved brand designs and ensuring all output and collaborations stay within the pre agreed Amberstone brand outline (using of logo’s, layouts etc.)
- There will be a requirement from time to time receiving competitive costs for elements so the ability to scope a requirement will be advantageous.
- Support as required the sales, tender and content development team.
- You may be accountable from time to time managing and supporting specific events including support with the setup of events and the equipment required.
- Support sales process and related standards across all departments.
- Provide sales MI upwardly to support growth planning activities.
- Support new customers from enquiry to quote that come in through emails, internally fed or phone enquiries.

Additional information:
- This role is based from our HQ at Great Chesterford, Cambridgeshire. From time to time you may be required to attend meetings at our other company locations including the Tech Centre at Mansfield, Nottinghamshire and Guarding Operations Centre in Livingston, West Lothian.

Education / Qualifications / Training required: Essential: Experience in a similar role and organisations with demonstrable record of great content in those organisations. Desirable: Educated to Degree Level in graphic design or related field etc. |

Previous work experience required: Essential: Two years + experience creating designs in house or for an agency. Strong eye for visual composition. Effective time management skills. Able to give and receive constructive criticism Desirable: Preferably worked in some capacity with security or business service provision companies. |
